As we step into another exciting year, I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Board for this incredible organization. For over 92 years, SBMC has been a pillar of the Jacksonville community, fostering connections, supporting local causes, and making a lasting impact. Our success is driven by our amazing members, who exemplify what it means to build relationships and do business based on trust, integrity, and shared purpose.
This past year, we accomplished remarkable things. From volunteering at impactful organizations like Children’s Home Society and Rethreaded to hosting signature events such as our Golf Tournament and Clay Shoot, we made a real difference. These efforts allowed us to award scholarships to deserving students and brighten the holidays for over 50 children through our Christmas Kids Shopping Spree.
But SBMC is more than just what we do; it’s about who we are. We’re a community of business leaders who enjoy working hard and having fun together. Whether attending happy hours at members’ businesses, joining a monthly golf outing, or cheering on our favorite teams at sporting events, we value the friendships and opportunities that come with being part of this club.
As we look ahead, I encourage anyone considering a visit or membership to take the leap. SBMC is Jacksonville’s premier civic organization for a reason: we bring people together, support our community, and build networks that last a lifetime.
